The only thing that trips up new viewers is that Season 1 is split into two separately listed halves. Some streaming services label them as Part 1 and Part 2, others as Season 1 and Cour 2. Whatever the label, they are two halves of the same 25-episode story, so watch them back to back. Season 2 follows on directly, and after it comes the theatrical film CODE: White, released shortly after Season 2 finished. The film is an anime-original story with no counterpart in the manga, so nothing that comes later depends on it — but it assumes you already know the characters and their dynamics, so don't jump to it early. Season 3 aired through late 2025 and rounds out the series as it stands. A fourth season has not been announced, so once you finish Season 3 you are fully caught up.

Most of Volume 13 has already been animated — readers who want to save a little can begin at Volume 14 without losing the thread, but starting at Volume 13 covers everything. The Viz Media English edition matches the Japanese volume numbering, with 15 volumes out as of August 2026 and Volume 16 due in September. None of the 50 TV episodes are anime-original; the adaptation runs straight through the manga with no filler. The film CODE: White is the one exception — an original story written for the screen that adapts no chapters at all.
