Fire Force
Start here. Twenty-four episodes that introduce Shinra, Company 8 and the mystery behind spontaneous human combustion, covering the manga up to chapter 90.
In a Tokyo where people burst into flame without warning and turn into living infernos, Shinra Kusakabe joins Special Fire Force Company 8 to put them to rest. He has a devil's reputation, feet that ignite at will, and a question he cannot let go of: what really started the fire that destroyed his family home twelve years ago?

Four entries, one unbroken story: Season 1, Season 2, then the two halves of the third and final season. There are no films, OVAs or recap specials to place, and the anime runs all the way to the manga's last chapter, so finishing Season 3 Part 2 means finishing Fire Force.
Start here. Twenty-four episodes that introduce Shinra, Company 8 and the mystery behind spontaneous human combustion, covering the manga up to chapter 90.
Continues directly from the Season 1 finale. Twenty-four episodes covering chapters 91 to 174.
The first 12 episodes of the third and final season, covering chapters 175 to 216. It stops mid-story, so have Part 2 ready.
⚠ Some services list this and Part 2 together as a single 25-episode Season 3.
Not a Season 4. These are the last 13 episodes of Season 3, covering chapters 217 to 304, the final chapter of the manga. The story ends here.
Fire Force is as simple as a long shonen series gets. Season 1 (24 episodes) introduces Shinra, Company 8 and the mystery of spontaneous human combustion. Season 2 (24 episodes) continues from its final scene and widens the conflict. The third season is the last one, and it was broadcast in two blocks: 12 episodes from April to June 2025 and 13 more from January to April 2026. Some services show those as one 25-episode season and others as two parts, but it is a single season with a break in the middle, and the first half stops mid-story. Watch all four back to back: 73 episodes, about 29 hours. Nothing sits outside this line. There is no film, no OVA and no recap special, and the only extra, a run of one-minute chibi shorts posted on the show's official Twitter account in 2021, has no English release, so it is left off the list.
Fire Force has 4 seasons in the main run — 73 episodes altogether.

Where each part of the anime lines up with the source, so you know where to pick up reading.
The anime adapts Atsushi Ohkubo's manga, serialised in Weekly Shonen Magazine from September 2015 to February 2022 and collected in 34 volumes (304 chapters). Kodansha publishes the English edition, and all 34 volumes are out. The anime reaches the final chapter, so there is nothing to continue with after Season 3 Part 2. By chapter: Season 1 covers 1-90, Season 2 covers 91-174, Season 3 Part 1 covers 175-216 and Part 2 covers 217-304. Sources differ by one chapter on whether Season 2 closes on 174 or early in 175. The only anime-original stretch is the first half of the Season 2 premiere (about 17 minutes).
Season 1, Season 2, Season 3 Part 1, then Season 3 Part 2. That is the whole series: 73 episodes, about 29 hours. There are no films or OVAs to fit in.
With Season 1, episode 1. Nothing is set earlier, and no later season works as an entry point because each one picks up exactly where the last one stopped.
No. Season 3 is the final season and was broadcast in two blocks: 12 episodes from April 5 to June 21, 2025, and 13 episodes from January 10 to April 4, 2026. Some sites list the second block as its own entry, which is why the table on this page counts four, but officially Fire Force has three seasons.
73 in total: 24 in Season 1, 24 in Season 2 and 25 in Season 3 (12 plus 13). At about 24 minutes each, that comes to roughly 29 hours.
Yes. The final episode aired on April 4, 2026, and it adapts the last chapter of Atsushi Ohkubo's manga, which ended in February 2022 at 34 volumes and 304 chapters. There is no manga left to adapt.
No. Fire Force has no film, no OVA and no recap special. The last two episodes of Season 1 were first broadcast together as a one-hour special, but they are ordinary episodes 23 and 24.
A set of 30 one-minute chibi shorts posted on the show's official Twitter account between January and July 2021. They were never licensed in English, so they are left out of the watch order.
Yes. Both are by Atsushi Ohkubo, and the ending of Fire Force ties its world to Soul Eater's. You do not need Soul Eater to follow Fire Force, and the link is only made explicit at the very end, so it is best discovered there.
Yes, for all three seasons. Funimation produced the dub for Seasons 1 and 2, which also aired on Adult Swim's Toonami, and Crunchyroll continued it for Season 3 from April 18, 2025, including the second half. Derick Snow has voiced Shinra since the first season, with Eric Vale as Arthur in the Season 3 cast.
No. All 73 episodes adapt the manga. The one exception is the first half of the Season 2 premiere, roughly 17 minutes of anime-original material before the episode returns to the source.
All three seasons are on Crunchyroll, and in the United States they are also on Hulu. Availability outside the US varies by region.
Yes, all 304 chapters. If you stopped watching partway and want to switch to the manga, Season 1 ends at chapter 90, Season 2 at chapter 174 and Season 3 Part 1 at chapter 216. The English edition is published by Kodansha in 34 volumes, all of which are out.
